Brief Introduction and Interests

I am an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) at the University of Warwick. Prior to that, I was a post-doc with Alexandre Stauffer at the Bath and did my PhD at Cambridge under the supervision of Perla Sousi.

My general area of interest is in mixing times of discrete Markov chains. In particular, I have worked primarily on random walks on random environments.

I am also interested in some more traditionally computer science-related questions. I am particularly interested in using random algorithms (eg Markov chains) to well-approximate combinatorially hard questions.
